Rivera Named Mid-Hudson Conference Player of the Week

Middletown, NY- Freshman Angelina Rivera (Paramus, NJ/Minisink Valley) was named the Mid-Hudson Conference Player of the week of October 20th. This is Rivera's second time being named player of the week. 

Rivera had a dominant week, turning in double-digit kills in all three matches. She opened up her week with a strong performance in the Mid-Hudson Conference semifinals, recording 12 kills against Dutchess Community College. Rivera carried that momentum into Saturday's matches against Bergen and LaGuardia. In the match against Bergen, Rivera tallied 16 kills. She finished up her week by recording a new season high of 19 kills against LaGuardia

The Colts return to action on Thursday, October 30 as they are one the road to face Monroe-Bronx in the Region XV Quarterfinals.
