Jabari Phillip named NJCAA Division II All-American

Men's Basketball Forward Jabari Phillip was selected to the 2024-25 NJCAA Division II All-American team.  Jabari was a 1st Team selection as chosen by the NJCAA Men's Basketball Committee. This caps an outstanding year for Jabari as he was also named the Mid-Hudson Conference and Region XV Player of the Year, and was a 1st Team All-Region XV selection.  A 6'4 sophomore from Bronx, NY, he started all 34 games for the Colts this season and was among the Colts' leaders in many statistical categories.  His play both offensively and defensively helped lead the Colts to the Region XV and NJCAA District A Championships as well as to a berth in the NJCAA National Championship Tournament.  Nationally, Phillip was among the top ten players in the NJCAA in Field Goals (283, 3rd in NJCAA), Offensive rebounds (124, 7th in NJCAA), and Total Points (694, 9th in NJCAA).  The 2024-25 Colts finished 28-6 overall.  The Colts have gone to the NJCAA National Championship Tournament two of the last three years.
