Bayside, NY - SUNY Orange men's basketball took down Queensborough by a final score of 95-69. The Colts improve to 23-3 as the Tigers fall to 17-7 on the season.
Leading the Colts was freshman Anthony Pacciarelli (Monroe, NY / St Josephs) with 30 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals. Sophomore Darren McFarlane (Bronx, NY / Monsignor Scanlan) added a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
The first half was a competitive battle, with each team trading points. Neither side was able to pull away, going into halftime tied 38-38. After the break the Colts came out with energy, quickly setting the tone for the remainder of the game. The Colts pulled away and secured the 95-69 victory.
Next up, the Colts remain on the road as they travel to Sullivan on February 17 for a 7:00 PM tip-off.
