Colts vs Erie College
The SUNY Orange Colts will play an afternoon game against the Erie Kats as the Colts are looking to capitalize on their last game as they did not play up to their expectations and suffered a serious loss against a tough opponent. The Colts will play a more even matched opponent in the Erie Kats as they have a record of 3-6 through 9 games.
From the start you could tell that this game was going to be competitive and come down to the wire as both teams are playing aggressively and are not allowing easy baskets when inside the paint and after two quarters of play the Colts were trailing by just two points with score of 33-31 and with only two more quarters to play the Colts will look to turn up the heat and take home the win.
After three quarters of play the Colts still find themselves down in the scoring column by just 3 points with a score of 44-41 and are looking to turn the tide and earn the lead with just 10 minutes of play left in the game. In a comeback victory the Colts were able to score 16 points to the Kats 9 which gave them their first lead which was enough for them to close out the very few minutes of the game. With a score of 57-53 the Colts moved on to a 4-5 record through 9 games.

Sophomore, #3 Liliana Ramirez had a great game finishing with 8 points scored also grabbed 9 rebounds and one steal
Freshman, #10 Jaylen Soltani was the second highest scorer with 13 points and also grabbed 3 rebound, dished 2 assists and earned one steal.
