Middletown, N.Y. - The SUNY Orange women's basketball team fell to Westchester Community College on Tuesday night, 64-41. The Colts drop to 0-4 on the season as the Vikings improve to 5-2.
A tough shooting night found the Colts down early, however they found their footing in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Vikings 20-6.
Freshman Jada Reed (Eldred, NY / Eldred) led the Colts with 13 points. She also chipped in three assists, four steals, two rebounds.
Madison Olsen (Wappingers Falls, NY / Roy C. Ketcham) continued her standout freshman year with a near double-double, totalling eight points and nine rebounds. Grace Breheny (Cornwall, NY / Cornwall) recorded her third double-digit rebound preformance in the Colts first four games, pulling down 11 rebounds.
The Colts return to action on Saturday when they play host LaGuardia Community College. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 pm.
