Edison, NJ - The SUNY Orange women's basketball team fell to Middlesex College 92-43 on Tuesday night. The Colts drop to 1-8 on the season. Middlesex improves to 6-12.
Sophomore Adriana Vazquez (Newburgh, NY / John. S. Burke) led the Colts with 21 points. Vazquez collected six rebounds, four assists, and one block. Freshman Adriana Joy (Florida, NY / S.S. Seward Institute) added 10 points with three rebounds.
The Colts struggle to find rhythm being down 32-11 in the first quarter. Middlesex led 45-22 going into halftime.
Middlesex did not let up in the second half adding 47 points. Taking the game 92-43.
The Colts remain on the road to face Bronx Community College on January 8, at 5:00 PM.
