Valhalla, NY - The SUNY Orange women's basketball team closes out their season after falling to Monroe Community College in the District B Championship.
Leading the Colts was freshman Jada Reed (Eldred, NY Eldred) with 16 points, two rebounds, one assist and three steals. Freshman Grace Breheny (Cornwall, NY / Cornwall Central) added nine points with eight rebounds, one assist and three steals.
Monroe jumped out to an early lead quickly setting the tone for the game. The Tribunes led throughout the first half entering halftime with a commanding 48-23 lead. Coming out of the break, the Colts were unable to cut into the deficit as the Tribunes outscored SUNY Orange 32-21 in the second half to secure the 80-44 victory.
With this loss the SUNY Orange Colts 2025-26 season comes to an end.
