Women’s Volleyball Dominates Ulster County Community College
Stone Ridge, NY-SUNY Orange women's volleyball took down Ulster County Community College. With the win, the Colts improve to 8-3, while Ulster drops to 0-8.
The Colts came out strong in the opening set, immediately establishing dominance and taking the set 25-11.
In the second set, SUNY Orange put even more pressure on Ulster, taking the set with a commanding 25-9 score.
In the third and final set of the night, the Colts continued to overpower Ulster. SUNY Orange took an early lead and never looked back, closing out the set with a 25-6 win to complete the 3-0 sweep.
Freshman Angelina Rivera (Paramus, NJ/Minisink Valley) led the team with 18 points, nine kills, and two digs. Freshman Janis Miola (Monroe, NY/Monroe-Woodbury) contributed 11 points, nine kills, and three digs.
The Colts return to action on October 9 as they face Hudson Valley Community College on the road. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM.
